DIEHL Aerospace
"In collaboration with Digitaltest,
Diehl Aerospace performs testing on three of our four board types using the Condor Flying Probe Test System. Digitaltest developed the test programs directly from our CAD data and this performs in-circuit and short tests, providing failure messages for each defect and a complete test coverage report for each type. The system uses a very smooth contact algorithm and test probes have never penetrated the complex, gold-plated boards. We are very satisfied with both test coverage and performance."
Becker Automotive Systems
"Digitaltest is our standard partner since 1996, when we chose to switch from GenRad test systems to improve price/performance and local support. We now have a total of 16 systems in four locations throughout Germany and South Africa, operating on a stand alone and inline basis which gives us very high throughput. All system are equipped with CITE, C-LINK and QMan software. Digitaltest's systems are easy to use, reliable and ideal for mass production."
Aeroflex
"
Aeroflex has been using the Condor flying probe system since 2001. As a low volume, high mix manufacturer, flying probe is vital to create cost-effective testing on both engineering and production boards. A key benefit is that we can create a fully debugged fixtureless test program in as little 1-3 days, depending on size and complexity and, since our boards are predominantly surface mount, the system allows us to access areas that would be inaccessible to a bed-of-nails test system. Digitaltest respond quickly to queries and the support is excellent."

"As a well-known manufacturer of medical products, testing, of course, plays a crucial role. A key factor that influenced us in the selection of Digitaltest's and the Sigma test platform they supply was that the system should be flexible enough to enable us to react to a wide range of testing needs on future projects. Furthermore, the cost of investment as well as costs for the operational procedures have to be taken into consideration (costs for adapters, costs for the manufacturing of programs, costs of maintenance and so on). Digitaltest met these requirements without compromising on performance."

"Our day-to-day challenges include keeping up with the latest microprocessors and new components, especially surface mount components. The MTS30 helps us achieve this. Speed of programming is vital. Digitaltest's CITE software helps greatly by supporting a much wider range of components. We can take data direct from the Bill of Materials (BOM) and translate this into our test environment, which saves a huge amount of time when new components are introduced."
